Help your child overcome anxiety

Anxiety disorders are common, treatable medical conditions that affect one in eight children. An anxiety disorder can prevent your child from making friends, raising a hand in class, or participating in school or social activities. Feelings of being ashamed, afraid, and alone are not uncommon. Research has shown that if left untreated, children with anxiety disorders are at higher risk to perform poorly in school, miss out on important social experiences, and engage in substance abuse.

Our 8-week treatment program combines psychological treatment modules, self-reported patient data and a licensed therapist.

ADAPTED TO YOUR CHILD'S NEEDS
The program is structured around eight weekly themes which build upon each other. It includes elements of mindfulness-based therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and behavioral activation therapy.

WITH AN EXPERIENCED THERAPIST BY YOUR SIDE
Right from the first call until the final week, a licensed therapist actively supports participants to become empowered and recover.  We provide help when it's needed most.

How it works

1. ASSESS YOUR NEEDS
Complete our assessment form to better understand your child's needs.

2. CONSULTATION WITH A THERAPIST
A phone consultation with a licensed therapist takes place quickly after. Your therapist will discuss the assessment results and suggest a care plan that works for you and your child.

3. 8-WEEK TREATMENT PROGRAM
You and your child  are guided through an educational journey to manage and decrease symptoms of anxiety.

4. MONITOR PROGRESS
Monitor your child's progress by logging mood, sleep and key events in your child's day-to-day life.

5. DAILY THERAPIST SUPPORT
Your therapist is available by text or email to discuss progress and answer any questions you have along the way.

6. OUTCOMES
Treatment outcomes are measured with validated clinical scales, every 2 weeks and at the end of the program

I live in a section of the country out of reach of most services. Campfire lets me get help from the comfort of my couch, and within sight of my child.
